This news is very heart-breaking for me and I know to many others who knew Terry.I had the previlege of playing with him on the field as a teammate and an opponent. He always gave 100% while he was playing softball.I don't know why or how this happened to my friend but I want to offer my deepest condolences to his family. All I know is that from now on I will miss him at the ballfield.I am truly heart-broken over his loss. You will always be remembered my friend.May you rest in peace. Picnic
Many thanks goes out to Artie for doing a fine job putting the picnic together. And for chef Curtis for putting his life in harms way cooking so close to a raging fire.
Good times with good friends.
It's an honor to be a part of the WHACS family.
Food For Thought
A win is a win, but it’s when you lose, that shows our character
FORMER PLAYER / MANAGER
SAD TO HEAR OF TOMMY CHRISTANSON'S PASSING. A TRUE GENTLEMAN AND A GREAT TEAM MATE. R.I.P. TOM
Thanks
It was a nice morning at the ballfield. Lots of friends spoke to me and wished me well. Really perked up my day. Gonna be awhile, but I will return .Trying for October .
Be safe and enjoy your game
One day of pickup games
3 days of BP and twenty swings just gets boring.
Instead of 3 days of that why not make one day a pickup game day.
Either draw from a hat or two guys picks guys for a simple couple, three inning game.
Or heck just bat through the lineup each time and clear bases every three outs till lineup has been run through. Give guys some position practice too.
Everyone do 5 swing quick BP and then go into the game.
