Are not written-ins allowed instead of assigning positions?

Per Bylaws: 3 Board members at-large are elected. If 3 are not, after the election, the new Board appoints enough to fill the seats.

A shame that only one person is running for a Board Seat.

My thoughts are that seven people are running for Prez & VP

and all can't win. Why not have all those who don't win go to

the Board automatically to fill those empty & important positions!

As we are in the midst of actual voting (commencing Monday, March 16th, per the Bylaws), it is disheartening to see the lack of Members steeping up to serve the Club for next year. Without concerned leaders (and knowledgeable leadership) the Club may/will be challenged to adequately maintain what we have had for the past 40+ years: an opportunity for Members to participate in an organized, competitive softball league, as well as other related social activities.
Yes! - there is a lot of work to be done. The real question, however, is: are YOU one of those who WILL contribute to the Club's continuing success? I hope YOUR answer is "Yes"!

I just wanted to give a big shout out to Al Johnson for keeping up the WHACS tradition of having a day at the races. My wife Carmela and i really enjoyed the day and also spending time with Al and Juanita. We stayed for all 8 races, and I felt really lucky only losing $3. It was good to see a bunch of familiar faces; some I haven't seen for a while. I hope we never lose this tradition. Thank you Al.

Congratulations to Tony M.and all who played a role in planning the Friendship Games on Wednesday December 10th. It was lots of fun for the families watching and for the players participating. Having 2 games and show casing our deep talent with 2 All Star teams was a great idea. Keep up the good work, and Let's do it again. Have a Blessed Christmas

Ross, Was always a pleasure to be on teams with you: we (usually) did well and it was a lot of fun.
Prayers and good thoughts are with you as you take this next step to recovery. Al J

Good luck Ross. I always enjoyed being on the field with you.

To all my old teammates and friends, sorry I haven’t been around to watch you guys play, but my back is in really tough shape . It is really hard to go to the ballfield and watch without being able to play, but the good news is I am scheduled for spine surgery actually two spine surgeries next week, and the Surgeon did not rule out that I would never be able to play softball again. So hopefully with a little time, and luck maybe I can get back with you guys and play again in the meantime have fun and stay safe,Ross PS miss y’all

Yesterday when setting up the field we noticed the grill was covered in dirt and the grill cover was on the floor.Someone was kind enough to donate the grill to the league and this is how we show our appreciation. That is unacceptable.
