Tony, is was great playing with and against you. I always regarded you as a true “Gentleman “. It was a privilege to know you.

I was upset when I saw the message of your retirement from the league but I understand what you are saying.I have given the same thought many times of my play in the league.Maybe you should give it some thought before you make a final decision.I will support you in what ever you decide.I do want to thank you for everything that you have done for our league in the many years you have served. It was always a great pleasure having you as a teammate and a pleasure playing against you.You always gave 100% on and off the field.A thank you doesn't seem appropriate for all that you have done in the league. Thanks again. Wayne
Many Thanks!
Tony, it has been a pleasure to play with and against you all these years: championship teams, as well as others! Also, working with you administratively as webmaster, Board member and on Player Committee when we restructured softball in 2016: great times! Thanks for all your contributions to WHACS 🥎 - stay well my friend!
Good Man, Tony P.
Tony you will be missed. Thank you for everything you did for me personally, and for believing in me when I joined the league 3 years ago and won my first championship. I didn't know anything about softball, and swung at just about every pitch, but in the championship round you said "Nelson I believe you are the X factor on whether we lose or win" that gave me the confidence I needed to help us win.
May God's blessing be upon you Tony

Met you almost 15 yrs ago & the time has gone by very fast. You got me a tryout, then on a team & it's been 1 of the best 15 yrs of my life! I could tell you really cared about the WHACS & the players helping with just about everything (President,Manager, running the softball store, having a great website, entering ALL the info). You even got me back into bowling. Thanks. You said you have a hand injury
& I was wondering if you tried Laser Therapy with Doc or Acupuncture? Maybe it'll work & you'll be back?G98D
Thoughts
Sometimes we need to appreciate what we have.
After our uniform shirts are deducted , plus deduct for field bar'b-que .Other incidentals
The game cost approximately $1.00 per. For that we get a game that's officiated, with a score keeper, game balls furnished ,on a nice field. with a Stat keeper.
If you add up the hours that volunteers put in , over the season and the preseason. It can easily exceed 80 hrs a week minimum. That's approximately 3000 hrs.of non paided time.,including preseason. .
We have a picnic, Christmas party, day at the races, field bar-b-ques..
Next time we feel the need to bitch , don't.
Try having a smile. Then say thank you to a volunteer..

I am so sorry about hearing about the passing of my friend Ron.I was one of the privileged ball players to have played with him.Of all the players in WHACS, now and past,he was the best of them all as far as I am concerned and I've seen alot of great players. He was a great ball player but most of all,he was my friend.I know that he has gone through alot over the past years with his cancer. The only good thing that I can say about his passing is that he is no longer in any pain.Ron,I will always remember you and remember how you always encouraged me on the field. You will always be with me my friend.May you rest in peace. End of the year gathering.
I want to thank everyone that attended the EOY gathering it was good to see the large attendance and also to not hear any complaints so I guess we can call it a success.
Thank you all that attended and those who couldn’t make it you were missed.
Uniform #’s
Joe,
Glad you caught that. Numbers, yea or nea, will be part of the vendor quotes we will obtain, so will depend on cost related to our budget allowance.
Should we have #’s (and I hope we do) guys can feel free to note their choice of # in the “Comments” section of the app , or we will work with them individually. No one will be left out. Thanks!
